This book is by the same author of “Cracking the Coding Interview: 150 Programming Questions and Solutions.” It details how a university student should approach a career in the tech industry. Although I’m over that stage of young college years, some information in the book is still useful, eg how to write a good resume and cover letter.

Furthermore, beyond the initial phase of “getting your foot in the door,” this book shows some possible career progressions for a tech professional. It is worth knowing what lies out there for the future so one can plan accordingly based on one’s strengths and interests.

I would encourage anyone interested in tech career to read this book! Feel free to skip ahead if you feel some paragraphs do not apply to you. Also check out other books from the same author. She’s the founder of CareerCup website. It’s worth a visit!
